Lapco trainers Mark Coleman and Austin Acheson, travelled to Arkensus Hospital in Oslo, Norway, to visit Norweigan Lapco Lead, Ole Helmer Sjo and his team.
The purpose of the trip was to continue with the ongoing programme of developing increased laparoscopic colorectal adoption rates across Norway, in line with the UK Lapco Programme.
Lapco Norway Train the Trainers (TT) programme started in March this year, and the Norweigan Faculty will continue to develop under Lapco’s guidance into 2016. After a series of training programmes, the Norwegian faculty will be able to use its their skills to develop an ongoing Lapco programme in Norway, starting in the South near Oslo.
