“It’s a very exciting opportunity to be working for Lapco given the legacy of what the programme has achieved. Surgeons face increasing pressure to meet demand placed on their services and education in minimally invasive surgery has a big role to play. With a family history of cancer diagnosis, it’s a subject close to my heart and I’m passionate to ensure more surgeons can benefit from the Lapco programmes.”Ed
Lapco founders Tom Cecil and Mark Coleman said: “We are delighted to appoint Ed as our new CEO to help grow the Lapco’s global presence. Over the next few years, we aim to significantly grow our international network of surgical trainers and trainees and develop new training technology so more patients can benefit from minimally invasive surgery. Ed will be an integral part of those plans.”
